Tough Tongue AI is a platform for building voice AI agents that handle real conversations or let you rehearse them. One side covers repeat work, such as calling leads, answering inbound calls, running product demos on Google Meet or Zoom, and booking follow-up meetings. The other side covers practice: sales pitches, negotiations, interviews, and leadership talks against a realistic AI roleplay, scored afterward. It was founded in 2025 by Ajitesh Abhishek, a former Google Cloud PM, and Mayank, formerly at Databricks and Meta.
You describe the conversation in plain English or start from library templates, and Scenario Studio builds the agent from your recordings, decks, and docs, with memory, tools, and custom scorecards. Sessions can mix voice, video avatars, slides, multiple-choice questions, and a browser, and every one is recorded, transcribed, and scored on criteria like pacing, clarity, and presence. Agents can be shared by link, embedded by iframe or widget, or created from ChatGPT, Claude, or Cursor through an MCP server, and you can bring your own Gemini or OpenAI keys.
The AppSumo deal is a one-time purchase with 4 tiers. Tier 1 ($69) gives 100 minutes per month, 1 seat, 5 custom scenarios, and standard AI models, but no phone or Google Meet deployment and no BYOK. Tier 2 ($169) gives 250 minutes, 10 scenarios, all models, course creation, 2,500 BYOK minutes, and phone and Meet deployment. Tier 3 ($299) is a team plan with 500 minutes, 5 seats, 20 scenarios, 5,000 BYOK minutes, and white-labeling. Tier 4 ($579) gives 1,000 minutes, 25 seats, unlimited scenarios, 10,000 BYOK minutes, and aggregate analytics. One minute is one minute of live voice conversation; phone calls need your own SIP trunk from a provider such as Twilio, Plivo, or Vonage.
