SocialBu is a social media management tool for scheduling, publishing, and tracking posts across 12 platforms from one dashboard: Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Bluesky, Mastodon, Threads, Google Business Profile, YouTube, Reddit, TikTok, and Pinterest. It is built by a bootstrapped team in Lahore, Pakistan, and has been around since 2019.
Beyond the drag-and-drop calendar it offers bulk post import by CSV, custom queues that recycle evergreen content, separate workspaces and roles for each brand or client, Google Drive integration, an AI writer, and performance analytics. Higher tiers add a social inbox, automation workflows, SocialBu Listen for keyword monitoring, content curation, and an MCP server that lets ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, and other assistants draft, schedule, and publish posts.
The AppSumo deal is a one-time purchase with 4 tiers. Tier 1 ($49) gives 10 social accounts, 600 posts and 500 AI writer credits per month, 8 queues, and 1 team, but no inbox, automations, Listen, or MCP server. Tier 2 ($129) gives 25 accounts, 1,500 posts, 1,200 AI credits, 3 teams, and 30 automations, and adds the inbox, MCP server, Listen, and curation. Tier 3 ($279) raises that to 75 accounts, 5,000 posts, 2,400 AI credits, 10 teams, and 150 automations. Tier 4 ($499), launched for AppSumo Plus members, gives 150 accounts, 12,000 posts, and 5,800 AI credits. Each post to one account counts as one post, and X posts with links are capped at 10 to 50 per month depending on tier.
