GetMCP is a self-hosted builder that turns a REST API into a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, so AI clients such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and VS Code can call it as tools. It comes from the team behind FlowMattic and runs either as a WordPress plugin or as a standalone PHP 8.3+ app (released August 27, 2026). Traffic goes from the AI client through your own server to your API, so GetMCP never sees your calls or data.
You can import a cURL command, an OpenAPI or Swagger spec, or a Postman collection, and GetMCP generates tools with schemas and validation. You can also ask a connected AI client to build servers and tools for you (Manage with AI). A built-in chat playground lets you test each tool before you share it, and every call is logged with client, latency, status, and payload size, with replay and JSON/CSV export. Auth covers API keys and OAuth 2.1 for users connecting in, plus per-client rate limits.
The RocketHub deal is a one-time payment with six tiers that differ only by site count: $49 for 1 site and $149 for 10 sites (both mapped to the Pro plan), then $199 for 20, $299 for 50, $499 for 200, and $799 for unlimited sites (mapped to the Agency plan). GetMCP normally sells Pro at $49 per year. Each WordPress or standalone install uses one site activation, you must activate within 60 days, and RocketHub does not allow tier upgrades or code stacking after purchase.
